Our curriculum moves like the Nile: purposeful, layered, and life giving. Each stage of our journey is designed to challenge, equip and elevate young Leaders into Trailblazers of vision, resilience and legacy.

We shape legacies. Our curriculum blends real-world civic engagement, African symbolism, digital innovation, and transformative learning experiences. Whether online, in-person, or on the road across the continent, every module is designed to mold resilient, ethical and visionary leaders.

A Trailblazer Journey

The curriculum is structured into seven key learning journeys, each tied to symbolic meaning and practical, high-impact delivery. These programs are adapted for young leaders across all backgrounds including the differently abled and layered with mentorship, technology, gamified learning and civic innovation.

Program Structure Overview

Tyrone Havnar Foundation delivers transformational, real-world leadership development programs designed for youth. The curriculum is structured into five main programs, each building the Trailblazer spirit across diverse, inclusive and tech-powered formats:

  1. Leadership and Governance Program (3 Weeks Online)
  2. Trailblazer Mentorship Program (7 Weeks Online)
  3. Lead Without Limits (3 Weeks Online + 5 Days In-Person)
  4. Transformative Leadership Fellowship (6 Months-Runs every two years)
  5. AI for Leadership (8 weeks hybrid)
  6. Treasure Trove Game Challenge (Gamified Element Across All Programs)
  7. The Sekhmet Crucible (Project Refinement Phase After Training -12 Months)

1. Leadership and Governance Program

Frequency: One cycle annually
Duration: 3 Weeks Online

Purpose: To introduce participants to ethical, civic, and visionary leadership through structured online learning and a culminating certificate ceremony.

Curriculum by Week:

Week 1 – Transformative Leadership Foundations – History of African leadership – Trailblazer reflections – Civic leadership video submissions

Week 2 – Leadership Under Pressure – Ethical dilemmas – Time-bound missions – Digital Treasure Trove Challenge (online scavenger hunt)

Week 3 – Governance in Action – Public accountability – Civic project proposals – Policy simulations

Week 3 – GAMIFIED: – In the third week we play the Treasure Trove and Sprint challenge, this is what adds to the PRESSURE aspect.

TVP (Trailblazer Value Points) System: – 10 points – Session attendance – 15 points – Timely assignment submission – 5 points – Assignment quality (clarity, creativity, realism)

2.Trailblazer Mentorship Program

Frequency: One Cohort per Year
Duration: 7 Weeks Online

Purpose: A one-on-one virtual business and leadership acceleration journey where participants are matched with mentors from across the world.

Program Features: – Weekly mentor sessions – Personalized growth plans – Business tracking and impact measurement – Access to expert-led masterclasses – Guided project development

Certification: Online Certificate issued upon completion

Integration: Top-performing mentees join the December Joint In-Person Cohort for final project pitching and possible Ambassadorship selection.

3. Lead Without Limits

Audience: Deaf, blind youth
Frequency: Annual (October)
Duration: 3 Weeks Online + 5 Days In-Person

Purpose: Equip differently abled participants to become civic innovators and confident leaders.

Online Phase: – Inclusive leadership models – Accessibility tech and innovation – Sign-language and screen-reader compatible content – Leadership storytelling and expression

In-Person Phase (5 Days): – Team-building and refining projects – Symbolic learning modules – Inclusive Treasure Trove Game Challenge – Public exhibitions – Selection of 5 differently abled Ambassadors

4. Transformative Leadership Fellowship

Frequency: Every two years
Duration: 6 Months (1 Month online,1 Month Mobile, 4 Months On Campus)

Purpose: To develop resilient, culturally rooted and future-ready leaders through immersive learning and symbolic experiences.

Curriculum Breakdown:

Month 1 – Online Springboarding and Preparation

Month 2 – Mobile Leadership Lab – Community service projects – Civic immersion – Symbolism-based learning (e.g., Egyptian mythology integrated into games and reflections) – Public engagement and stakeholder visits – Situational leadership simulations

Months 2 to 4 – On-Campus Learning (Residential) – Leadership under pressure modules – Governance and public accountability – Communication for influence – Civic innovation labs (project development) – Digital literacy, AI, IT & Robotics in leadership – Physical, mental, and emotional resilience workshops – Guest mentorship sessions

Signature Elements:Treasure Trove Game Challenge (in-person leadership scavenger hunt) – Mini Egypt-inspired board game sessions (Symbolic challenges) – Cultural Immersion Weekend

Final Output: Pitch-ready civic innovation project + Fellowship Graduation

5. AI for Leadership

Duration: 8 weeks (hybrid: online + in-person lab sessions)
Participants: 20-25 youth leaders (selected through competitive applications)
Format: Weekly workshops + mentorship + capstone projects

6. Treasure Trove Game Challenge (Cross-Program)

Concept: An immersive gamified leadership challenge built on clues, riddles, symbolism, and strategic thinking. Held both online and in-person across all programs.

Format Variants: Digital – Individual hunts with reward portals

Physical (Cohorts) – Symbolic scavenger hunts, puzzle boards, leadership tasks –

Inclusive (Deaf/Blind) – Adaptive game formats with tactile and audio navigation

Technology Integration:VisionBot- An AI assistant that helps participants (especially differently abled) navigate assignments and play Trove

Purpose: – Drive critical thinking, peer collaboration, and creative leadership – Symbolic interpretation and use of ancient wisdom in modern contexts

Prizes: – Data bundles – Learning materials – Public recognition via website and social media

7. The Sekhmet Crucible (Project Refinement Phase After Training)

Symbol: Sekhmet – the lioness goddess of fire, war, healing and fierce transformation.

Timing: Post 3-week Leadership and Governance Program, pre-Joint October Cohort

Purpose: This is the sacred space of challenge, clarity, and creation where each participant’s project is stripped to its bones, reimagined and rebuilt.

Key Activities: – 1-on-1 project review clinics – Redesigning of project blueprints – Introduction to Lean Canvas and impact mapping – Testing ideas under critical mentorship

Outcome: Projects become refined, registered, fundable, and pitch-ready. Participants emerge with a deeper sense of ownership and vision.
